A community of musicians who share their knowledge and inspire passion for the organ
The Guild
Join Our Chapter
Whether you are an organist, choir director, church musician, or enthusiast, joining the American Guild of Organists is a wonderful way to get to know your music community and share your knowledge and love of organ and choral music.

The Durham Chapel Hill chapter presents a program of events every year featuring performances, recitals, workshops, and discussions on a wide variety of topics related to the organ and/or choral music. Our Chapter also offers a monthly newsletter, a scholarship program, professional relation services, and substitute referrals to employing institutions. Members can contribute to the Chapter's Scholarship Fund and/or the Operating Fund through ONCARD. Non-members can donate by contacting us.
Who We Are
Executive Board
Our Executive Board is committed to the well being and growth of this Chapter. In addition to overseeing the Program, Development, Education, and Outreach Committees, this team of volunteers has recently held brainstorming sessions to discuss the needs, goals, and desires of the Chapter's membership as a whole. The board is continually striving for creative ways to engage members, build stronger relationships with the community, provide support for young organists, and build a vision for the Chapter's future.

Member input and involvement is strongly encouraged. There are many ways to get involved and volunteer within this Chapter, one of which is to serve on a committee. Find out more about ways you can get involved and serve this community.
